Psychological distress
Share of adults showing signs of psychological distress on a validated short scale, and the share who sought help
Current value
No figure of ours is published yet. The value is released with its full methodology - and with the response rate, however uncomfortable.
Comparative reference
References we measure against: مقاييسُ دوليةٌ مختصرةٌ معتمَدة (تُختار بإجازة لجنة المراجعة قبل الميدان) - no nationally representative figure with a published methodology exists, so our first wave sets the baseline.
Context figure
One in ten has a mental health condition; at least one in five mild to moderate
WHO estimates - 2025 - source
A context figure, not a comparable reference: An estimate, not a national survey baseline - the baseline is what we will build.
